Events

The Friday meetings are held in the church hall of the Torrisholme Methodist Church, Norwood Drive, Torrisholme LA4 6LT They start at 7pm and finish at 9pm with a short interval for a drink of tea or coffee. See contacts for map link.

The programme is divided into two sessions in a year. The Autumn/Winter programme starts in September and ends with the AGM and Christmas Social at the beginning of December. The Winter /Spring programme begins in January and finishes at the end of March.

Dec 10th AGM & Christmas party held at the old Grammar School Bolton le Sands 7-9pm

The oil painting group commenced on the 23rd September. The cost is £20 for the 6 week session. The venue is the Old Grammar School, Bolton le Sands and takes place on Thursday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm. The Autumn course runs for 6 weeks. Martin Greenland is the tutor and visits twice in each 6 week session to give guidance and advice.

The portrait group commenced on the 23rd September. The cost is £10 for the 6 weeks session. The venue is the Old Grammar School, Bolton le Sands and takes place on Thursday mormings from 10am - 12 noon. This group is untutored but the members of the group give guidance and support to one another. Contact Gil Shaw for information about these 2 groups. See contacts page.

The Winter Art Exhibition at the Lancaster City Museum has been booked for the period from 23rd October 2010 until Christmas more details to be added in the near future as details are finalised. Get your paintings ready for this exhibition. See exhibition form with newsletter.

Your entry forms need to be completed & submitted to Jenni Thornley to be received no later than the 1st October.
